It's a mostly cloudy start to the day over the mountain with some light snow still falling in places and up to 20cm of fresh being reported by ski areas.

This morning I have just slightly over 1cm of snow to report. (Hirafu and Hanazono are reporting 5-10cm, so perhaps we can expect up to that much higher on the mountain).

As we approach 8:30am, and after the snowfall that the report below is mentioning earlier, it's quite bright with a lot of cloud around but also some blue sky.
