Snow is falling this morning and coming down nicely as I look outside the window.

As we start the new month there is a modest amount of fresh snow to report and, alas, a few top lifts are not able to start up as planned.

It's snowing still and this morning Hanazono and Hirafu are reporting 20-30cm of fresh snowfall, with 10cm being reported at the other two areas.

Yesterday the Niseko Village gondola did get moving but the top lifts and the other two gondolas remained closed (well, as far as I can tell).

I have some fresh snow to report this morning. Not a huge amount - just a few cm and it is snowing as I write this report.

It feels milder once again this morning.

And as expected things have cleared up at last and it is a lovely morning. There are mostly clear blue skies and the sun is shining.

So I do have snow to report to you this morning. Due to the mild conditions at the moment it's kind of heavy and wet.
