There is a dusting of snow down below, more up top (no official numbers to report) and over at Kagura they are reporting 15cm of snowfall.

It got to snow yesterday but it didn't last long and didn't bring us much --- nothing more than a dusting really and I can just about justify adding 1cm for the record.

A fresh white thin layer of snow at base areas this morning.

A quick early report to let you know what will be open today.

I don't have a whole lot of specific information for you on this day known as 'Opening Eve'.

Just two days now until Naeba opens. There's just a thin later of snow on the lower base area slopes.

More snow to report this morning and actually quite a bit up top. And Kagura has this morning opened, where they were reporting up to 30cm of fresh snowfall.

Another bit of snow, sunshine this morning but we are due snow tonight... and Kagura will be able to open tomorrow.

Some rain overnight changed to snow early this morning and there's just a thin white (almost) covering on the lower base slopes of the resort.

Alas, Kagura will not be opening on Saturday - they have announced a delay.

It may well be raining down in the central area of Yuzawa town, but down here in Naeba it is snowing and I have the first 3cm of the season to report from base.

31st March 2019. It is the last day of the ski season for Naeba. That all went very fast didn't it.

Just generally cloudy now this morning. Including today there are just 4 more days left here at Naeba.
