Fresh snow! Resort reporting 20cm of snow on the mountain this morning and nearly that down at base areas too.

It is another cold morning with a few more cm of snow on the ground again.

Madarao Kogen reporting up to 30cm of fresh in places on the mountain; more like half of that on the cars and outside my place at base.

Very fine blue skies above us this morning with just a bit of white cloud here and there. Another cold start.

Yesterday was one better forgotten in the big picture (smaller picture too actually!)... rain is not fun in mid winter.

What a great day it was yesterday. Maybe not absolutely perfect powder conditions, but the weather was amazing and I can't imagine people not enjoying it out there.

Snow for pretty much all of the day yesterday as it turned out with 15cm of fresh on the runs according to the resort.
