It is a beautiful Sunday morning here in Madarao and going to be a relatively mild one.

More snowfall so another update as we get closer to the opening date - a week on Saturday.

Quick update with a bit more snowfall on the ground.

Another snow report in the run up to the season, this is from yesterday... right now there's some blue sky opening up as the clouds start to scatter.

For the sake of continuity in this pre-season period, I feel compelled to report the snow.

And here we go, the first cm of snow to report from base. A nice decent layer of fresh snow on the ground this morning with everywhere looking good and white. Love it.

And how was your 'green season'?

This is it folks --- the last day of the 2016/2017 season here in Madarao.

Ah, the last day of March. Still hard to accept and conditions out there just don't feel like that - which is of course a good thing.

A bit more snow from yesterday, but this morning the sun is out and there's blue sky with some cloud up there.

As we enter the last week of the season, snow is falling in Madarao.

After snow through the day yesterday we didn't really end up with that much in terms of new cm (I measured 4cm), though the resort is reporting 10cm this morning so perhaps a decent layer for everyone to play in this morning.

Fresh snow alert! And it's pretty cold too. And snow is forecast through today.

A kind of overcast feel to the start of the day here. Snow overnight has stopped (not much on the ground) and we're in that overcast mode. Looks like the sun might be trying to break through.
