12cm of snow to report since yesterday and right now it is cloudy. The snow clouds are taking a rest... for the moment.

If you were hoping for a calm and sunny New Year, you will be disappointed. But if you came looking for some lovely powder and mid-winter conditions, no doubt you'll be very happy at the moment.

Yes, things are good. I have measured 34cm of fresh snowfall since my report yesterday and the resort itself is reporting 30cm.

Not great if you like sunshine and blue skies. But if you love quality fresh snow, there's a lot of it around this morning.

The snow has returned and it should be giving us a good long visit this time round.

It's Christmas Eve! And there's some snow news after a wetter day yesterday.

Last night lower areas got rained on but up here we got some snow and I am measuring 7cm to add to my report this morning.

There's a nice fresh layer of snow on the ground this morning. 18cm of it. Nice.

Anyone get out yesterday? Happily visibility improved and it was just great to get out on the skis again. I even had a stint on the board too. Didn't know what to do!

Hello and good morning from Madarao. Season in!

Lots of fresh snow this morning meaning we are on for a really decent start from tomorrow.

After some rain it turned into snow and this morning I have 14cm of fresh snow to report and add to my reports and the resort reporting at least 25cm of snow depth.

Just to keep you up to date, a bit more snow to report since yesterday morning but right now there's increasingly blue sky over Madarao.
