Morning from Hakuba and more snow to report.

A good morning to you from Hakuba and thankfully it is a much (much) better one than yesterday.

It was a mix of cloud and clearer conditions yesterday - with one minute limited visibility and light snow, and the next the sun shining.

Fresh snow for Christmas, yey!

It's one of those really stunning mornings that Hakuba is so good at.

Good snow is falling right now and about 7cm of fresh (and counting) on the ground.

It was a lovely day yesterday and I had a fine time up at Hakuba Goryu.

It is a beautiful morning in Hakuba.

I had some fine turns yesterday at Hakuba 47 - it is great to be able to do that on 10th December.

Morning from Hakuba. There's a lot happening this morning with more snow to report, more resorts opening, more lifts starting up for the season and more courses opening up.

Today is the first day of the season!

Ah, snow. Don't we just love it. And there's never enough is there, especially in this tense early-season period as we all eagerly await enough for the lifts to start moving...
