Snow was falling yesterday and really coming down up on the slopes in some area - at least at times.

After a cloudy day yesterday, it is snowing this morning folks. Don't sound surprised!

Morning from Hakuba where the weather is continuing to cause headaches.

There's no new snow to report to you this morning though I hear earlier on it was snowing very lightly higher up.

Sadly there were some strong winds again yesterday and I was over at Happo-one at lunchtime where lifts were affected.

Yesterday morning the wind was messing about with things - happily today there's no wind problem and as far as I can tell resorts opening as planned.

A fabulously happy morning to you from Hakuba where snow is arriving in style.

Resorts around the area seem to be generally reporting up to 10cm of fresh.

Morning from Hakuba and.... ho ho ho, it's Christmas Eve.

Light snow has been falling this morning in the valley and more no doubt up there on the mountains too where I am hearing conditions are quite windy too with poor visibility in places.

It's a stunner of a morning here in Hakuba. Some cloud around but lots of blue sky and bright sunshine.

As much as I don't want to have to report this, but it's raining this morning.
