Hello and Happy Christmas and best wishes to everyone reading SnowJapan.

The weather this Christmas morning in Hakuba is --- cloud and light rain.

Now to the good news. Higher up, snow is falling and temps are forecast to drop this morning and into tonight and it should soon be snowing down here at base too.

The forecast is still looking promising for the weekend with the promise of decent snowfall along with really cold conditions particularly on Sunday.

Bring it on, I say!
