Yesterday we got a mix of cloud, rain, snow, rain and then snow again. I know the bits I prefer.

Another 40+cm this morning and light snow falling early morning.

'Only' 60cm or so of fresh snow this morning at base. A slightly more respectable nearly 80cm higher up.

Geto doesn't really do half measures. The snow is back in style after some pretty mad conditions starting yesterday.

The rain has turned to snow. But it is really windy and... all lifts are on hold.

After what turned out to be a bit of a snowy windy morning yesterday, it later settled down. This morning it is a cold start but clear skies - and going to be milder.

It is a national holiday here in Japan but the snow isn't easing off just yet. Though, for us, not as much to report this morning just 20cm or so at base and the resort itself reporting 34cm.

After another day of snow yesterday, the ski area this morning is reporting 66cm of snowfall on upper areas.

Another morning of mind-boggling numbers here. 60+cm down at base and I believe the resort is reporting 85cm in top areas.

Another Monday morning and a further large amount of snowfall.

OK so yesterday we went from cloud to light rain. Always better if we can avoid that...

A mixed picture this morning. We got more snow yesterday during the day, but last night it got a bit warm and there was actually some rain falling. Booooo!

It's cold. It's snowy. Wind is an issue with a strong westerly blowing all the snow around, and while we might get more snow tomorrow it will hopefully be less windy.

After the wind and visibility issues yesterday morning, and snow through the day, we start today with some blue skies and bright sunshine.
