Suitably ridiculous amounts of snow have been falling here since my report.

Nearly 25cm of fresh snow at base this morning and the ski area reporting a very Geto Kogen-like 36cm higher up. It is a good morning.

Things can change very quickly. Take yesterday and this morning as a good example.

Yesterday was a mix of generally fine weather conditions with clouds moving in later on, but we are back to snow this morning and hopefully for the day.

With another 10+cm at base and a little more on the mountain, Geto Kogen will be open from this morning.

It is a good morning too, with over 20cm of snow down at base since yesterday morning. Slightly less exciting to report is a period of rain yesterday evening.

This is to record the 5cm at base.

There has been some more snow since yesterday, 5-6cm down at base and 13cm is being reported by the ski area.

After the sleet and kind of miserable stuff yesterday morning, it turned into snow.

It has been a fine morning with blue sky and some cloud. There is also a layer of snow on the ground.

Hope everyone is well. It has been six months. We've had summer and we've had autumn. There's still some nice autumn colours around.
