Last day of 2020! And we get Geto-like snow. Over 0.5m of it. Friend at the resort is telling me over 70cm up on the mountain this morning.

With some more fresh snow during the day before yesterday, and just being cloudy last night, this morning the sun is out and it should be an excellent day on the mountain.

It was snowing on and off for the day yesterday. It's snowing this morning. Perhaps it'll ease tomorrow.

Good morning from Geto Kogen. I just remembered, it's Christmas. As with many things this year, that feels kind of different in many ways. But seasons greetings to you all.

Just a dusting of snow really to report this morning. I am hearing 2cm higher up! It was basically just a cloudy day yesterday.

This morning we have 4 lifts operating - the Number two gondola, two pair lifts and quad lift.

Good morning from Geto Kogen. Another 20-30cm on the ground this morning as the snow continues.

The snow has been continuing with another 33cm to add from base this morning and over 50cm being reported up top.

More snow this morning as it continues to pile up as Geto plans to get-o into full gear from tomorrow with 'regular' operations planned. (See what I did there?)

Another 50+cm since yesterday as we continue to get pounded. Though having said that it is light snow early this morning. We might even see some breaks in the clouds.

We waited for snow. Sometimes not patiently. Opening was delayed and we got a bit worried.

Snow! And lots of it too. The ski area is actually reporting 100cm of snowfall (!)

Happy to report that it is snowing again and it looks like it should be set in for the week. The numbers will be added. The base will be built, for proper this time.
