I am happy to report that the snow has arrived.

Yesterday wind ended up being a problem, with only the pair lift operating.

Several cm of new snowfall this morning with cloudy skies but a kind of subdued sun trying to break through in places (not very successfully).

Not much to report just yet as we eagerly wait for the mid-winter like conditions to return.

Fine weather in the morning yesterday with clouds appearing early afternoon and then some snow falling.

Yesterday it was mild and we had southerly winds again, and that kind of wind in particular is not a friend to our snow.

Yesterday started off with some fine weather, that low sea of cloud over Minamiuonuma, and a bit of drama over at GALA Yuzawa.

Well, the thermometer says it's pretty cold, but it sure doesn't feel like it.

Another good layer of snowfall to report since yesterday with the ski area reporting 35cm over 24 hours.
