About another 10cm from later in the day yesterday to add to the ongoing snowfall numbers!

The ski area is reporting 30cm of fresh snowfall, and my own measurement is 33cm.

Good morning from Madarao and, wow, another 35-40cm of fresh snowfall since the report yesterday morning.

Loads of snow! And more coming. Until Tuesday. Oh yes, what a fine way to start the morning.

Well, yesterday it started snowing before lunch and it quickly started to accumulate and I have measured another 22cm. Nice.

It has been a cold start but the sun is out and shining through my window. Blue sky with some cloud. A beautiful morning to be out on the slopes.

Cloud around for much of yesterday though some spells of clearer skies and even a bit of sun.

Quick one this morning I need to rush off to Nagano city. Handful and a bit more of cm of new snow with a mostly cloudy kind of morning but more snow expected.

A bit of an overcast kind of start to this morning, though fairly bright for the moment.

Ski lifts are both Madarao and Tangram are going to be moving from this morning as we start the 2024-2025 season!

And, goodness me, the lifts will be moving in less than 48 hours!

Some more snow in the morning since my report yesterday, but as you can see from the images below it is a fine and sunny start to Monday.

Perhaps not as much as we thought we might get since yesterday, but it is still snowing and forecast to continue today and perhaps heavily at times.

I wasn't looking forward to eating my hat, so I particularly pleased to be able to report snow.
