We've had almost 30cm of fresh snow since yesterday which is great to be able to report.

Just a few cm of (wet) snow this morning and maybe up to around 5cm on top.

Another 10cm to add from base with the ski area reporting 20cm higher up.

Wow. Good morning from an extremely snowy Geto Kogen.

With a good amount of fresh snow, Geto Kogen plans to open tomorrow (Friday 5th December).

Not enough for the ski area to open.

We have had some fresh snow overnight - up to 20cm of it up top.

Lots of fresh snowfall since yesterday, indeed another 30cm or so... and up to 50cm being reported from mountain top areas.

5+ cm around base by this morning with more to come by tomorrow.

The hot summer now seems like a distance memory and we have some fresh snowfall on the mountain.

Today (Tuesday 6th May) is the last day of the 2024-2025 snow season at Geto Kogen.

It is still raining this morning but I am hearing that there might be some wet snow up on the mountain.
