Update:
Announcement alert. The Chuo run will remain open tomorrow (Monday) and weekdays this week.
So it looks like this weekend wasn't just a special two-day 'pre-open', but rather the proper start of the season.
Original morning report:
The good snowy news continues with another 14cm on the ground and light snow falling still.
Not too much change and we still can't see the top.
Utopia is also now open for this 'pre-open'.
No announcement yet regarding tomorrow. As things are, the ski area plans to be closed from tomorrow through Friday before the proper 'opening' on 14th. But with all this snow, perhaps that might change (will update this report if anything has been announcement before this evening).
