The sun is out!
Yes, it's a fine morning here in Zao, but importantly there's 3cm of fresh snow on the ground here at base as well. Not a huge amount of course, but it all adds up as that base needs to be made!
It is also a cold morning. When I got up it was -4C outside and it's still a few under zero.
There's a good chance of more snow tonight.
Zao Onsen will open as soon as there is enough snow.
