It snowed lightly throughout the day yesterday but the larger flakes this morning made up for most of the new layer.
It is sunny in the valley with blue above the mountain but low cloud drifting over so the visibility comes and goes. Whether true sunny spells will be experienced to day remains to be seen as snow fall also comes and goes.
It is definitely colder and winds will be variable.
The most people on the slopes was yesterday and likely to be the same during the course of the morning. I understand that today's Shinkansen is going to be the most crowded despite yesterday being the end of the public holidays. Take care with your bus schedule if you're one of them.
