A very Merry Christmas to all from Zao Onsen.
For those of you who celebrate it, do have a wondrous time wherever you are and in spite of any restrictions there may be where you live.
I went to bed a bit alarmed at the light rain which was falling at base, however, woke up thankfully to 2cm of new snow. It's back to being misty higher up and feels cold. It should also be snowing lightly on and off today.
The Shobanuma lift (20) opened yesterday so you can use the Renraku course from Utopia over to Paradise and the Katakai lift (16) without having to use the ropeway to the top. It is not clear if the Onsen No.4 Quad (37) is running today. It was yesterday afternoon.
