Horror story in the valley last night - it was raining!


Fortunately we're high enough for it to have been snow. Big fluffy stuff but perhaps too light as it compacted down to 3cm at base.


Foggy again today but not pea soup, however no long views at the top. Light snow forecasted today later on and sunny patches for Christmas Eve.


NB. Some lifts are getting a while in starting up, so if you're an early bird, don't be surprised if not yet running despite what the board says.


All lifts scheduled to be operating apart from:


- Onsen Number 3

- Onsen Number 4 quad

- Ryuzan pair

- Karamatsu pair

- Nakamori Number 2 pair

- Paradise Number 3 pair

- Shobunuma Number 2 pair

- Yokokura Number 2 pair

- Sunrise pair


All areas open apart from:


- Ryuzan

- Kotan

- Shobunuma


Official snow depths (as reported by the ski area):


- Summit area: 85cm

- Paradise area: 80cm

- Chuo area: 100cm

- Utopia area: 90cm

- Uwanodai area: 70cm

- Omori area: 65cm

- Kurohime: 90cm
