Just a bit more snow since yesterday in Zao, but we're not complaining after the last few days. Paradise area now reporting close to a metre of snow. Still not deep but nice snow out there, I can report --- was out there for a few turns myself this morning. It's still snowing as well with poor visibility out on the mountain this afternoon. Really coming down nicely actually.

The snow is still due to ease off soon though and going into the weekend it should be less cold and we might well get to see the sun... much less chance of snowfall.

Today the following lifts are operating around the mountain as previous days:

Zao Ropeway

Chuo Ropeway

Sky Cable

Chuo No1

Utopia No1

Paradise AB

Onsen No1

Yokokura No1

All snowfall data presented on this page is the snowfall measured and observed at base/town level by our reporter based in Zao Onsen. The 'new snowfall' number represents the amount of snow measured since the previous report. All opinions are those of the individual reporters.
