Yesterday, the sun graced us for a short period then hid for the rest of the day. Not too much snow. The winds were gusty.
Today we have a fresh layer of snow with occasional wind gusts.
Good snowfall in recent days with the official snow depth at Utopia now reaching 3m.
Official snow depth (reported by ski area):
Yokokura area: 115cm
Uwanodai area: 150cm
Utopia area: 300cm
Chuo area: 250cm
Paradise area: 250cm
Summit area: 255cm
Night skiing:
Night skiing is planned in the Uwanodai area daily until 24th February (and then 1st/2nd March).
