Good morning from Yuzawa.
No fresh snow being reported yesterday by ski areas (though we did get 2cm post-report yesterday morning, so that's where that is coming from!)
This morning there is cloud around but also blue sky and sunshine. It's a fine morning. Fairly chilly early on, but due to be a mild day - hopefully not too warm.
We might get some light snowfall overnight, though shouldn't expect much.
Monday is a national holiday here in Japan (Coming of Age Day) and so it's a long weekend for many - and usually one of the busier weekends of the ski season.
The top of Iwappara is back open this morning and all ski areas appear to be opening as planned.
