Morning from Yuzawa.
The day didn't end up quite so bright and clear yesterday, but it was definitely warm. 22.3C at 3pm in town according to JMA.
It is a mild start to the day today with cloudy skies and a noticeable wind. Not raining yet, but we do expect some from sometime this morning.
Probably back to sun tomorrow though it won't be as warm as yesterday.
Today is the last day of the season at Kandatsu Snow Resort. They are just about managing to stay open today... the main run is looking almost as brown as it is white.

100cm (not sure why but that has increased since yesterday)
Notes:
Lifts operating: Gondola, Sociable quad, Barouche quad and Coach pair lift (Central Area only).
The planned closing date is Wednesday 6th May.

Kagura
Official snow depth:
Top: 250cm
Base: 150cm
Notes:
Lifts: 12 of 17 lifts remain open with both Mitsumata and Tashiro Ropeways operating.
The Tashiro Area (and Tashiro Ropeway) plans to be open until 7th May.
The Kagura Area (via Mitsumata Ropeway) plans to be open until Sunday 17th May.
