After a very bright morning yesterday and some rain last night, the snow has started overnight (and set it from dawn). At 8:30am there was 10cm at our measuring point. That has been cleared in anticipation of more. If forecasts are right, we should be getting a lot of snow this week!
For the record, earlier on Maiko Snow Resort was reporting 5-10cm.
Visibility is limited to poor out there.
As far as I can tell, all ski areas are opening as planned.
