More snow to report this morning.
It was snowing for most of the time yesterday and ranged from light snow to relatively short spells of heavier snow; though never really getting into the 'relentless mad snow' level (the one I love so much).
Still, including a measurement yesterday evening and subsequent wiping off the measuring point, and the additional snow overnight, I can report 28cm of fresh today. Good. Very welcome.
But let's keep going!
Light snow has been falling early this morning but has just eased off as I write this. There are even a few signs of some brighter skies and perhaps even a bit of sun breaking through the clouds. Perhaps temporary. We'll just have to see.
But forecasts still show snow with us today and tomorrow.
(It's worth noting that forecasts over the last week or so have turned out to be off-target to varying degrees, so it's feels hard to know exactly what to expect at the moment).
