Unsettled weather conditions yesterday. Rain at times, heavy at times; windy at times, strong at times; clearing up and sunny at times. It was all over the place.
And if you were up at Kagura, you were getting snowed on after being rained on in the car park down at base. The resort said that there was up to 10cm of fresh snow up there. A very nice surprise.
It was raining lightly earlier on here in town, but has since cleared and dried up. Lots of cloud around but the sun appearing at times as well mid morning with the forecast for more of that later this afternoon and temperatures rising to around 14 degrees in town.
It has been quite busy at the resorts that are open this weekend as we enter Golden Week.
Just over one week left for the Tashiro Ropeway and that part of Kagura resort. From Tuesday 7th, it's all about the main Kagura area (via Mitsumata Ropeway). It will be fun to see how the snow lasts this season...
