After a mostly overcast day yesterday, this morning it is snowing and colder. The snow is on the wet side for the moment, with just a little on the ground so far.
Both Kagura and Maiko Snow Resort are reporting 10cm of fresh snow. We are measuring 2cm at town level. Hopefully there will be more today and tomorrow.
Kagura are reporting it to be quite windy and that might affect one or two lifts (though the ski area is open).
Clearer skies are due from Monday, so let's get as much snow in as possible!
Limited visibility out there early morning.
Official 'Yuzawa Fuyu Hanabi 2023' fireworks planned for tonight at Iwappara (6:55pm), Kagura Mitsumata Ropeway (8:00pm) and NASPA Ski Garden (9:00pm). Weather permitting, of course.
