Clearer and sunny conditions is what we ended up with as well yesterday. By late morning the snow had stopped and the clouds cleared. It didn't end up a bluebird type day with a fair bit of cloud hanging around but generally bright and sunny.
Busy out on the popular slopes as well.
This morning the snow is, or should I say was, back. It is a mild morning - around 0 degrees now - and set to get a bit warmer. I was going to be writing that there was a chance of sleet/rain, but unfortunately it has started to happen.
My colleague just to the north in Minamiuonuma is reporting heavy rain and rather wet conditions there now.
The good news is that from tomorrow it will get colder once again and we have consistent snowfall lined up over the coming week.
Just out of interest, I see GALA Yuzawa today brought their snow depth number up to 400cm...
