Yesterday the sun was out for the day and it was pretty warm, but it was also hazy with some very thin high cloud around as well. Got fairly chilly during the evening though.
It is going to be colder today. Mostly cloudy and a bit of wind - though both Kagura and Gala Yuzawa don't seem to be affected by that at all and opening as planned. Rain might be falling during the day but hopefully it won't be for long.
The current forecasts show sunny conditions for the weekend with more rain due early Monday.
Naeba will be (part) re-opening for the weekend - they plan to have the Number 2 Gondola, Takenokodaira Romance lift and Number 5 high speed lifts operating.

GALA Yuzawa:
Official snow depth of 230cm.
The Central Area and most of the North Area.
The South Area is now closed.
The downhill course is also now closed - get down back to base using the Gondola.
Kagura:
Official snow depth of 330cm.
All three main areas of Kagura remain pretty much fully open.
The 'Kagura Park' is open.
