Welcome to the weekend in Yuzawa.

And it is a fine start to the day here with the sun shining down. A chilly overnight and as of 6:30am it is around 2 degrees, with a high of about 10 degrees likely later on in the day.

Tomorrow should also be sunny but get a fair bit warmer... we might see temperatures rise to almost 20 degrees in town.

Maiko Snow Resort is due to open today and tomorrow for the weekend, and that will be the last for that resort this season.
