At one point in the late morning yesterday it felt light it might end up similar to the previous day, as the snow clouds cleared leaving us with a bit of blue sky and sun over the valley. That didn't last long though and a new wave of snowclouds moved in and at times it was falling heavily around lunchtime and early afternoon.


This morning there's around 5-10cm of new snowfall to report at town level. Kagura are reporting 10cm.


It dipped to about -6 degrees overnight and as of 9am is about -1C. The sun is out this morning, just a few wispy white clouds here and there but mostly blue. It should be a very fine day.


Snow forecast for later and into tomorrow.
