Hello from Yuzawa.
Yesterday it was snowing (wet snow) at times in town, rain at others. It was a cold and wet kind of day.
This morning it is largely overcast over Yuzawa but bright. We can expect some clearer skies during the day and milder conditions.
It kind of felt inevitable, but Kandatsu Snow Resort has delayed opening as there isn't enough snow. So they will not be open tomorrow. The ski area hasn't announced anything beyond that, so I would expect them to be on standby for when there is enough snow.
Tomorrow is still expected to be snowy. Possibly very snowy. And it is due to start overnight, and will probably start off as rain down in town tonight.
