More snow has fallen since yesterday. I have had to move about 20cm off the top of the car last night and there's another 10cm or so on there this morning. The snow has eased off now and we have a curious mix of weather in the region. A look at the webcams shows quite clear and sunny conditions in Naeba with a lot of blue sky, with some of that blue sky over Kagura as well and the sun shining down on the main slope. It's still cloudy over the main Yuzawa town area though at the moment.
Actually the forecast tells us to expect cloud and light snow, so we'll have to see whether that happens or whether the clouds are indeed clearing up.
We do seem to be moving on from this considerable snowfall we have had over the last few days though. There's a nice amount of snow hanging around the town area now which is great to see. All good for more resort areas opening up this coming weekend.
Opening, lift & other notes
Kagura is mostly open and part of Naeba is also now open.
