On and off snowy and windy conditions since yesterday, and at the moment the wind is still blowing around the fine snow that is falling making for rather wild conditions outside.
It's making it hard to put a number on the snowfall again this morning, but after checking my various measuring points and speaking with a few friends I'm going with 25cm. (Just to give you an idea of how the numbers can vary, the official site is reporting 35cm while Kumanoyu are reporting 5-10cm! Hmmmm.)
Whatever, there's a nice fresh blanket of snow out there once again and with more on the way too... there's not much in terms of clear weather conditions shown on the weekly forecast though wind will perhaps be less of an issue from tomorrow.
Anyway, things continue to go well for us here in Shiga Kogen. If you are planning on being here come prepared for snowy conditions - and good snow on the slopes!
