Hello from Shiga Kogen on a snowy Saturday morning.
Five ski areas in Shiga Kogen are now part open, as below. Many more plan to open from next weekend and with the snowfall we should get this weekend and into next weekend, I think we can feel positive about the chances of that happening.
Monday and Tuesday currently forecast to be clearer with some sunshine. It should keep pretty cold too, which is great to see.
