Independent snow and weather reporting from the Shiga Kogen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 5cm
Snowfall at base this season 411cm

Posted on Saturday 31st January 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.

Light snow has been falling this morning but heavier snow is forecast for later in the day today along with potentially strong northerly winds.

Hopefully not strong enough to affect the lifts but a real possibility. We seem to be ok for the moment though.

We could do with a large amount of fresh snow to really give us a complete refresh.
