Lovely morning here in Shiga Kogen, though that's not really what I want to be reporting. Clear blue skies hardly a cloud to be seen. The views are great. But there's not much snow to report unfortunately. It's all looking a bit bare, apart from a few of the runs that resorts are preparing to be open. A number of snow making machines can be seen doing their work to try and help nature along. It has been nice and cold overnight and early morning though so that is helping.
Anyway, where are we at?
Basically it's still the one lift at Kumanoyu that is moving.
Takamagahara and Ichinose Family are going to do their best to open tomorrow morning. There is a chance of snowclouds giving us some of the goods overnight tonight, so fingers crossed that happens.
I'll update you tomorrow morning to see how we get on.
