After that break in the clouds and calmer conditions yesterday, we're back to stormy conditions here in Shiga Kogen this morning.
Snow, wind and cold conditions - and many lifts are being affected at the start of the day. Limited options this morning if you want to brave conditions.
It is another day when measuring snow is... difficult, due to the wind. Yakebitaiyama are reporting 40-50cm; Kumanoyu are reporting 20cm. I'm going to go with my measured 34cm.
It might be worth taking a soak in an onsen and waiting for tomorrow which should be calmer and there may be some more sunshine as well.
