How things can change in just one day!
Around 30cm of fresh snowfall in places this morning. More in some places (someone I know is saying 50cm, though that seems a little... what's the word... optimistic?!), and probably less in others as wind has been a factor overnight (a bit less for now, though still gusty in places).
Whatever the number, a good amount. Happy this morning.
It's really snowing good and proper now as well which is fantastic to see. If this continues there should be more piling up during the day today.
Tonight is forecast to be clearer and there may be some sun in the morning before more snow clouds move in by tomorrow night. Come on, bring it on!
From what I can gather the only (small) areas that remain closed are Hasuike and Kidoike. All other areas of Shiga Kogen are now at least part open.
