It is a beautiful Christmas morning here in Shiga Kogen.
Some fresh snow on the ground from yesterday and now the sun shining down on us - but it's keeping cold.
Perfect really. (For the moment, we could do with more snow of course!)
A look at the map and more and more of the resort areas are now open. I'd say it's more like 75% open now which is good to see. Just bits here and there that remain closed. Next up, fully open please!
The forecast looks good for decent amounts of fresh snow from Tuesday onwards.
