Morning.
Wow. Some clearer skies in the morning yesterday but from the afternoon - heavy snowfall.
Very large amounts of snowfall - numbers we don't usually get here in Shiga Kogen.
This morning Kumanoyu are reporting 60cm of fresh snowfall.
Yakebitaiyama are reporting a 50cm.
I have measured 54cm.
But it is windy and the wind is blowing snow around. So it is one of those times where it's really difficult to give a number... can only report what I see.
Bottom line: stormy conditions and heavy snowfall. Quite a few lifts are being affected this morning for those wanting to venture out in this.
We might see a break in the snow tonight and tomorrow morning, but more is forecast to be falling from tomorrow night.
