Independent snow and weather reporting from the Shiga Kogen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 126cm

Good morning from Shiga Kogen.

Bright and sunny!

The Shibutoge lift is moving this morning and the Yamanokami lift is also open, so the connection between Ichinose and Yakebitaiyama is now up and running. Hurray!

(I heard that Maruike would be open too, but as of 10am it is showing as closed on the official site).

Slowly but surely, things are opening up - but we need another decent snowfall for much more to happen. I would like to be able to say that it is coming imminently, but we are going to have to be patient. There's not much snow on the forecast through the weekend.

The information below is manually checked with official sources and updated for every report.
