Good morning from Shiga Kogen. And a good one it is as well. Why? Well, it's snowing. And there has been 10cm or so of new snowfall in places as well. It feels like winter again with the cold temperatures.

More areas open for the weekend, but we'll be back to less from tomorrow once again. It has actually kept fairly cold over the last week with a few dustings and temps not rising as much as they were last month for example.

Fresh snow on the ground and a chill in the air... what more could we ask for late April? The forecast is advising warmer conditions in the coming week.
