Hello from Shiga Kogen.
Already Friday? The days just fly by don't they...
There is a moderate wind blowing about and so it is one of those mornings where you'll find different amounts of snow in different places, but I think that 16cm is probably a fair amount to report. Yakebi are reporting up to 30cm and Kumanoyu are reporting 10cm.
The wind may also affect some lifts and so it is probably best to check with resorts for the latest up to date on that. As far as I can tell at the start of the morning the Gondola and a few lifts at Okushiga Kogen are on hold
Snow isn't falling as I write this here in the Maruike this morning but still is in places.
It is cold but if you wrap up you should be rewarded with some fine snow conditions.
Less snow forecast for tomorrow with more due later Sunday and early in the coming week.
