Morning from Shiga Kogen where we have continued to be pounded by heavy snowfall and it is still falling.
I really can't remember having a storm on this scale here, it has been relentless and we have huge amounts of snow piled up on the sides of the road and... pretty much everywhere.
By tomorrow morning things should have eased off and there may even be some sunshine. It will be a close to perfect day if that happens and I'm excited just thinking about it now.
The even better news is that another strong winter front it due to arrive Friday night and deposit another large amount of snow so there should be a fine topup for the weekend (not that we even need one just at the moment!)
