Independent snow and weather reporting from the Shiga Kogen region of Nagano
New snowfall at base 10cm
Snowfall at base this season 56cm
Posted on Sunday 15th December 2013 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.
Colder this morning across Shiga Kogen and more snowfall to report along with some gusty wind conditions - though lifts that are open don't seem to be affected, perhaps running slower than usual.
Fairly poor visibility though as the clouds engulf the mountains. The snow clouds should be with us for the rest of the day, then perhaps clearing up for tomorrow and Tuesday before more snow mid week.
