Posted on Wednesday 14th December 2016 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.
Last night we had some horrid rain falling for a while but happily this morning we wake to snowfall - around 10cm of it on the ground in places - with snow still falling and thick fog in places.
Snow is forecast for the day today with perhaps a break in it tomorrow before more as we go into Friday. Hopefully enough to help more of the area open.
