Good morning from Nozawa.
It feels colder this morning! And later in the day wet turned into snow overnight. It's not often that lower areas report more snow than the top, but that's what we have today (see the list below). I see more too. Curious.
Whatever, Naski is out in it and still has a smiler on their face. You can always rely on Naski.
Visibility is pretty low out there even at base as of 8:30am and the snow is coming down. Still lifts appear to be opening as planned for those who would like to brave these conditions. Make sure you know where you're going - and stick with friends... would be my advice.
Tomorrow I might have some winter-like Nozawa-rashi numbers to report, which would of course be great. It will be calmer and clearer too, so good for folks who want to enjoy it.

- Uenotaira (1407m): 7cm
- Hikage (660m): 7cm
- Nagasaka (616m): 7cm
- Karasawa (563m): 5cm
