Good morning from Nozawa on this last day of April.


And it is a big day for Japan as the Emperor makes way for his son and then tomorrow we enter the new Reiwa Era.


The weather isn't particularly appealing though - it's raining. But hopefully it will not last for long, leaving us with just cloud for the day.


The forecast for tomorrow is generally just cloudy and over the next few days it will warm up to around the mid-teens C during the day.

- Uenotaira (1230m): 100cm

- Hikage (660m): no longer reporting

- Nagasaka (615m): no longer reporting

- Karasawa (563m): no longer reporting

- Nagasaka Gondola (8:10am - 3:00pm; last one down 3:40pm)

- Yamabiko Four (8:30am - 3:20pm)

- Yamabiko Number 2 Four (8:25am - 3:30pm)

- Skyline connecting pair (8:25am - 3:30pm)

- Uenotaira Four (8:30am - 3:30pm)

- Paradise Four (8:30am - 3:20pm)

The Yunomine pair and Mizunashi triple lifts and those courses are also open but for pole practice - not open to general public.


All other courses are now closed.


Ride the Gondola back down to base.


The village shuttle bus is operating from until 6th May for Golden Week.


Parking is free every day.
